Avesto is on Uzbekistan Street, about 340 m from St Alexius Cathedral and 390 m from Alisher Navoi Park. Of its two large rooms, one is given over to sweets — signature desserts, cakes, pastries and bread fill the counter — while the other works as a café for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The menu mixes European and Uzbek dishes: soup served in a bread bowl, lentil soup, a crispy-aubergine salad, samsa and kurnik pie. There is an English menu, Wi-Fi and parking, and laptops are welcome.
