A contemporary restaurant near the Rukhobod Mausoleum, combining a coffee terrace, an in-house bakery with bread and desserts, and modern European-leaning cooking.

Boulevard sits at the head of University Boulevard, about 130 m from the Amir Temur monument and 300 m from the Rukhobod Mausoleum. It works in three formats: a bright terrace serving classic and speciality coffee, a bakery turning out craft bread, pastries and modern desserts, and an intimate dining room with soft lighting and paintings by contemporary artists.

Breakfast runs from 9am to 2pm — croissants, shakshuka, syrniki and porridges. Later in the day the menu turns European: burrata, beef carpaccio and tartare, hummus and vegetable starters, pumpkin cream soup, a Scandinavian-style fish soup, salads and mains, with plenty for vegetarians.

It is one of the most highly rated restaurants in Samarkand and draws both travellers and the city's younger crowd. Prices sit above the local average, but it is a handy spot for an unhurried breakfast or dinner near Gur-e-Amir and Rukhobod.
