Lia! by Minyoun Stars of Ulugbek is a four-star hotel in the Silk Road Samarkand complex, also managed by Minyoun Hospitality. The Lia! brand is aimed at young, active travellers, with accessible prices, a relaxed atmosphere and contemporary design. The building sits on the eastern edge of the complex, next to Silk Road by Minyoun. The hotel honours Ulugh Beg, the ruler-astronomer of Samarkand who fixed the positions of 1,018 stars and calculated the length of the sidereal year.

Thirteen of the 170 rooms are suites. Foodrink, the ground-floor restaurant, serves a buffet breakfast that includes vegetarian and fasting dishes, switches to an à la carte menu for lunch and dinner and has a 50-seat terrace. The Tea Station lobby bar pours a wide range of teas, and Silk & Spice, a restaurant and bar, serves contemporary Uzbek food. There are two conference rooms and a fitness centre.
The congress centre is about 600 m away and the Eternal City 800 m.
