Tagi Chinor Osh
Lunchtime plov centre by the Tagi Chinor bus stop
A plov centre in Kosaho mahalla, Samarkand District, right by the Tagi Chinor bus stop. It opens for lunch only and serves its plov with fresh salads.
This plov centre is on Guzallik Street in Kosaho mahalla, Samarkand District, a few steps from the bus stop that shares its name. Tagi chinor means 'under the plane tree'. The Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum is about 4 km to the north as the crow flies, and Qamchinon Osh about 2 km away.
It is open daily from 11:00 to 14:00, and reviewers say that on busy days the plov is gone by 13:00. Fresh salads come with the plov, and chalop, a chilled yoghurt drink, is on offer too. There is plenty of seating, and cards are accepted. A namesake plov centre operates in the city, on Panjakent Street.
