Stumari
Georgian restaurant with a summer courtyard
A Georgian restaurant on Orzu Makhmudov Street serving khinkali, khachapuri, mtsvadi, kharcho and Georgian wine, with live music on Friday and Saturday nights and a quiet summer courtyard.
Stumari — Georgian for 'guest' — is a Georgian restaurant on Orzu Makhmudov Street in the city centre. The menu sticks to the familiar Georgian repertoire: khinkali, several kinds of khachapuri, mtsvadi skewers, kharcho, dolma and chebureki, with Georgian wines and chacha to go with them.
On Friday and Saturday evenings there is live music and an entertainment programme, and the dining room gets loud. If you would rather eat quietly, there is a summer courtyard.
