Arirang is a Korean restaurant on Registan Street, roughly 400 m west of Registan Square and close to the Rukhobod Mausoleum. It is a favourite with travellers looking for a break from Uzbek cooking.
The draw is Korean barbecue, grilled at your table and served with a spread of small side dishes that are topped up as you go. The menu also runs to a meat hot pot, spicy beef, kimchi, fried rice, ramyeon and tofu, and some dishes can be made vegetarian. Large groups are welcome.
