The hostel occupies No. 38A on Registan Street, the city's main tourist thoroughfare, in the Gur-e-Amir neighbourhood. In a straight line the Sadriddin Ayni House Museum is 110 metres away, the Rukhabad Mausoleum 350 metres, the Registan 440 metres and Gur-e-Amir 510 metres. Guests describe it as several apartments knocked together, with high ceilings and bright rooms.
There are 18 rooms. The dorms sleep six in three bunk beds fitted with curtains, and every guest gets a lockable cupboard. Men's, women's and mixed dorms are available, along with private rooms and two-room apartments for couples. The kitchen has crockery, a fridge and a microwave, and a washing machine can be used for a small fee. All rooms are air-conditioned and free Wi-Fi covers the building.
The hostel is open 24 hours, with check-in from 14:00 to midnight and check-out by noon; breakfast is not provided. Guests get a key, so you can come back from an evening stroll at any hour. The eating area is next to reception.
