The hostel sits at the end of a dead-end lane off Bibikhonim Street, in the old quarter between the Registan and the Bibi-Khanym Mosque. As the crow flies the mosque is about 200 metres away, Siyob Bazaar 400 metres and the Registan 560 metres, so the main monuments are an easy walk. The owners restored an old family house and filled it with vintage pieces; in summer guests unwind in the inner courtyard.
There are four rooms: a mixed eight-bed dorm with its own bathroom, two doubles and a twin. Dorm bunks come with privacy curtains, power sockets, reading lights and personal lockers. Every room is air-conditioned and guests can use the kitchen. Breakfast is included, and tea and coffee are free all day. Hostelworld's Hoscars awards have twice named it the best hostel in Uzbekistan.
The front desk is staffed around the clock; check-in runs from 14:00 to midnight and check-out is by noon. According to the hostel's listing, payment is in cash on arrival and the tourist tax is charged separately. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms, and quiet is kept at night.
