The Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand opened in September 2022 with 162 rooms in a modern six-storey building. Unlike the chain's three hotels in the Silk Road Samarkand complex, it is in the city itself, on Dagbitskaya Street in the northern part of the centre. As the crow flies, Siyob Bazaar is about 1.7 km away, the Bibi-Khanym Mosque 1.8 km, the Registan 2.3 km and the Ulugh Beg Observatory 3.3 km. The international airport is 3.2 km away and the railway station 3.5 km, which helps if you have an early flight or an evening train.

The lower ground floor holds a large indoor pool, a sauna, a steam room and spa treatments, along with a gym. The restaurant serves a breakfast buffet and an à la carte menu through the day, and there is room service.
