Branch No. 1 of the Ikrom teahouse is on the west side of the city, about 5 km from the Registan, in the Orta Khojasoat neighbourhood. Locals know it for its shashlik: chunks of lamb, liver, minced kebab and a layered kebab nicknamed “napoleon”, ordered with salads, bread and other Uzbek dishes.
The dining room has a modern look, and in summer an open terrace is added. Being far from the tourist trail, it serves mostly local diners. It never closes.
